hello 6 year old newly diagnosed i don't know if this is common with autisum but my son is banging and hitting his head alot i don/t know what to do can some one help

carly, It can be a sign that something physical is going on. Some kids have reflux, constipation or yeast overgrowth. There could also be an intollerance or allergy to a type of food or something. Could be some sort of pain, discomfort or sensitivity. I hope you are able to figure it out...Is anyone helping you with this?
