You need to see a psychiatrist about medications and a behaviorist about a behavior management plan. Also, local school districts will sometimes offer courses to teach defensive and hold techniques. I've read that some children may become aggressive during puberty, so I'd take him to see a psychiatrist or develpmental pediatrician immediately. There are medications that help with agressive behavior. If financial resources are a problem, locate your local mental health clinic and tell them it is an emergency and that you need help now. Good luck to you; I hope you are able to help your son through what will surely be a difficult time in his life.

Pubery and Autism can bring about many behavioural changes in the child. So definetly get a functional behaviour evaluation completed as soon as possible. You have to also realize while your child is going through puberty this is gonna be the time where they know they are different...because they don't have a girlfriend...and it could be something as simple as something in his school environment that is setting him off or in his home environment. Like for example with my son I had to make some adjustments to my home when he was younger as he also has hypersensitive hearing and he could hear frequencies on our stereo that I couldn't even hear...needless to say I bought another stereo because he kept trying to smash the one I had. We live on an old military base currently and here is another example....when the communications trucks from the department of the army were up here when the war was out of hand my son could actually hear the military communicating and he was telling me what was going on in our great nation before I even read about it....but the devices they used to communicate on would bother his ears so he would lightly tap his ears trying to make the noise go away.
