Hello,
I'm a grandma raising 2 of my grandchildren, one of which I do believe has a "form" of autism.
The doctor says he seems to be "normal", but then again he sees him rarely and has done no testing to alleviate my fears or concerns.
Frustration is the key word for myself and grandson.
I did some research and found Flax seed oil and have been giving him 1 tsp daily, what a difference and what a happy kid!
Has anyone else experimented in this way?

Welcome to the group!
Its nice when we hit on something that helps!:)
My adult son also takes flax oil, and many other supplements. They have helped him so much!

Four words. Get a second opinion!
Observe him and write down his "odd" behavior and how often it happens. Take your observations with you when you go to the doctor. Also make note the difference the oil made. I'm glad you found something that helps.
Until he's diagnosed with whatever the problem might be, he can't be helped!
He could be autistic, or he could have asbergers, or ADD. Maybe there's a hearing loss, or Cerebral palsey or Bells palsey orsomething different. I see autistic-like behavior in a lot of people, but it doesn't necessarily mean they are autistic. I hope you get some answers soon!
