If you don't, then these forums can be very helpful, since many of us are in similar situations.

Sometimes I took the time and trouble to meet others in the area who had autistic children and that was ok. Now a friend of mine has an autistic son. His diagnosis came later, as a teen.

I have been fortunate enough to meet several other mothers who are in the same boat as I..it is a Great relief to talk to someone who understands exactly what you are going through and sometimes it's humbling to see that someone may have it harder than you.
