I was wondering if anyone is involved in the gf/cf diet? My son just started gluten free about 4 days ago, and his behavior has been worse lately. (more screaming, shreaking, hyperactivity, etc) Does anyone know how long the gluten detox lasts? Thanks for any help!

My son is only CF. I have heard that it takes the gluten much longer (than casein) to leave the body. How is it going now?

Hi,

My son is C/G/ F for almost two years. It takes quite little time till he becomes Free G/C. but really it helps alot. It reduces the hyperactivity ,increases the attention, eye contacts, reduces the dierhea. It helps the kids to concentrate and focuss. but it is very diffecult to cut it totaly as my litte one steels the food from the fridge or from his elder brother. If you can manage it completely you will have a better result. I knew a friend of mine her child recovered with the diet and the medicine. Just let us give a try to every thing till we come to a solution. with my love Nahid.

Thank God for this website & others like it. How do I get my son to start eating the foods that he needs for his body? He, just like many like him, don't like certain textures or food. Loves the Chicken McNuggets from you know where ;). He's now 6. Attitude has increased a bit. Now when he throws his fits, it can last up to an hour. I really would like to get to know who Samil really is. I know he want's to come out. He's trying. It's really hard man.......... :( I'm never going to stop trying until he's recovered from this thing we know as Autism.

P.S.
God, thank you for allowing me to be his dad. Although he's a little different, he's still my boy. And please let him know that I love him so much..........
