Hello my name is Tricia, I have been babysitting my girlfriends little girl since she was 12 weeks old and she is now 4. (5 next month) I go to most of her Dr. appointments took her to the Nuerologist to be diagnosed. I spend a lot of time with this little girl and love her dearly. I have 2 girls of my own, but I have learned so much from Dawn. She is soooo smart and so well behaved. However, I am a little concerned. She is going to be 5 next month and she is not potty trained at all. I have been trying to potty train her, and mom and dad say "they are trying".
How can I potty train her? How do I make her understand to go on the potty? She is thin and tall, but to big to fit in a diaper or pull up. Is there another type of diaper that will fit her? PLEASE help me. She goes to a special school 3 hours a day, and most of her friends her age are potty trained. Are there any tips? What should I tell her? What do I need to know/do?
