 Hello everyone

I have a 4 year old high functioning autistic daughter. She has been through Early Intervention since she was 1 yrs old. She is no longer in Early Intervention because of her age. She gets Wrap-around-services now. I am concerned that she might have dyslexia. She is verbal, but a little off when trying to ask for something or when she is trying to say something.

Through therapy, she has inproved in alot of ways, but she shows no interest in learning how to write or read. We have tryed getting her to draw circles and some other shapes, but she doesn't seem to understand or show any interest. I have a sister who has aspberger and has dyslexia too.

I have a 12 year old daughter who has PDD, but she can write and she can read simple stuff. She learns more visually than reading. She has social problems but is very inteligent when it comes to math. I don't know how to help me 4 year old with this problem. Has anyone else had this problem.

She will be going into the school system next year. I just want to be prepared on how to help her.

Thank You
rosie
