Hi
our son has been improving in pointing and eyes contact after we started to using a simple techniques we learned from his OT
Pointing
takes her/his favorite toys out of her/his reach but in a place where they can see thay're there, and then everytime he ask for it you take his/her hand and make point signal telling to point at.
eyes contact
take thing he likes like food or toys , go down to his level and put the thing near to your face , so he/she have to look at you.
sing her favorites songs at his/her level using a lot of expresions and taking his hands most likely he/she we look at you.
hope this help
