Glad to hear you were able to get an early diagnosis. I also have twin boys (mine are 5 years old). One of them has Asperger's. I started telling my pediatrician that I thought he was somewhere on the autism spectrum when he was 18 months old. He thought I was nuts! Turned out I was right. Matthew was diagnosed as autistic at 3 (language development was the only diagnostic criteria that kept him from being classified Asperger's at that point) He'll be retested in the spring, but my developmental pediatrician and I both agree that he really is more Asperger's than anything else.

hi welcome ,,, how are the little guys doing now????
i believe the best dx is parents i knew about the little one i babysat was ''off'' long befor a dx, as she was very withdrawn from the other children and way to quiet, everyone said her twin made all the noise for the two of them lol which was partially true, she was dx just over two and it came as no surprise to me, she is now 10 and amazing, i teach her and soon will have to go back to school to keep up to her . I cant explain the pride i feel when she hugs me and says i love you , I completly feel blessed and honoured to know and love her.......laurie
