Welcome to Together for Autism!
The main goal of our site is to help bring people together who are affected, in one way or another, by autism. Parents who have autistic children often struggle in trying to figure out how to best teach, discipline, feed, etc... their child and unlike "normal" kid problems, there are not ten other parents in the neighborhood who are dealing with these same issues. People need others to talk with and to know that they are not alone in dealing with certain issues. This is why we created this site. Together for Autism is a place to discuss, learn, bounce ideas around, express concerns, vent, and, of course, boast about the triumphs! If you are struggling with something right now, chances are good that there are members on the forums who are going through the same thing. We also welcome people who have autism, siblings of autistic children, health professionals and education professionals who work with autistic people. All are welcome! We offer some articles that you can find on the left toolbar for informational purposes, but the main focus of this site is to unite you with others who are dealing with the same issues. >> Join us in the forums!
